We’re already about 1/24th of the way into the next year already, but it’s time I sit, reflect, re-brandish, and start gathering momentum again. I’ve had an incredible 2011 to say the very least. I owe it to a lot of opportunities, a lot of people, a lot of spontaneity. And this only means the bar for 2012 is a notch higher, so time to jiayou and make more benchmarks.
2012 Resolutions:
- Have more fun. Have a fun semester. But still go harder every week!
- Take care of myself. Learn when to be selfish, when to be selfless, and to acknowledge that you can be both.
- Prioritize better. Devote and invest more of myself into my priorities with less multitasking.
- Allow time and room for creativity, personal projects, and myself. Learn to have effective down time.
- Moderation and efficiency. Don’t binge, it makes things worth it. While satisfying temptations, be efficient and make the most out of it.
- Smell the roses. Take time to enjoy the little things: the conversations, the lazy bedridden days, the people, the music, and the calm before the storm.
